Traditionally Email Archiving was just for Financial Institutions or Lawyers who needed to keep their emails for regulatory or just general reasons. With Spamina’s new low cost cloud based archiving solution any organisation can choose to archive their email.

Spamina Email Service Archiving functionality

 

  • Inbound, outbound, and internal mail is stored in the Spamina Archiving Box.
  • Incoming mail is filtered by Spamina’s Email Firewall Service, and a valid copy of every email is stored in the archive
  • In the case of outgoing mail, and in order to store the mail, the following options are available:

 

1. Configure the SMTP server to use Spamina Email Service Firewall as a smart     host, sending all outbound and internal mail through it.
2. Configure the SMTP server to send a copy of each outgoing and internal email     through the Spamina Email Firewall Service.

 

  • All mail sent through the Email Archiving Service is indexed and archived.
  • Mail system administrators can access the Spamina console to search the Email Archiving Service using any web browser on a PC or smartphone.
  • The search tool can perform queries using a range of criteria, including date ranges for sent and received mail, senders, recipients, subject and content of message. Results can be exported or forwarded to an email account specified by the user.
  • Periodic and transparent user updates
